Solid Needle's Tip is non-cutting, with rounded edge, to minimize tissue trauma and risk of neural injury. Plastic cannula is tapered to ensure minimal discontinuity at juncture with solid needle.

Plexus Cannula For Axillary Plexus Anaesthesia Axillary plexus cannula. Consists of solid needle with 45° bevel (see left) fitted coaxially into a plastic cannula (see below). Bevel affords a distinctive click when penetrating vasomotor nerve sheath. Needle hub (see right) is marked for visual and tactile confirmation of bevel orientation. Hub provides for direct electrical connection to nerve stimulator patient cable. Hub will also conveniently accept alligator clip.
