Stim2Go

Stim2Go is a powerful neurostimulation system developed for non-invasive Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), transcutaneous Spinal Cord Stimulation (tSCS), Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES), and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS). Programs can be used for the improvement of motor function, muscular re-education, pain treatment, and the reduction of spasticity.

Overview of key advantages

Hybrid Assistance

Stim2Go allows multi-channel FES-support for cyclic motion trainers. It is training device independent (brand and type) and can be adapted to the needs and capabilities of patients at all phases of rehabilitation by amplifying the patient's movement. There is no technical device interface required.

Assissted Training Options

Sensor Function

Stim2Go uses a built-in inertial sensor to capture the patient's motion in real time. With this biofeedback, stimulation patterns can be triggered to support the patient's movement. “With the sensor function, the movement can be captured in real time, and the support of the patient's movement is easily adapted.“ -Dr. Thomas Schauer, Scientific Advisor PAJUNK®.

Overview of key advantages

Features & Advantages

1. 5 Stimulation Channels

  • Up to 5 stimulation channels can be used independently.

2. Powerful, Long Pulse Duration

  • Pulse duration can be adjusted by the therapist.
  • For tSCS.

3. Transcutaneous Spinal Cord Stimulation (tSCS)

  • Relearn voluntary motor functions.
  • Spasticity reduction.

4. FES-Assisted Cyclic Training

  • Use of existing training equipment for cyclic movements, no modifications necessary.
  • An inertial sensor built into the body-worn stimulator detects the patient's movements to control the assistance.
  • Applications like cycling or arm cranking.

5. Portable Device

  • Compact and lightweight design.
  • Optionally wearable on the body.

6. Augmented Reality (AR)

  • AR support for electrode placement.

7. Custom Therapy Programs

Creation of programs with customized parameters for individual patient needs:

  • Frequency: 1 – 100 Hz.
  • Current amplitude: max 100 mA @ 1 kΩ.
  • Pulse-width: up to 1000 μs.
  • Pulse form: bi-phasic rectangular (charge-balanced).
  • App-based program storage for stimulator independent usage.
  • Freely programmable complex stimulation sequences.

8. Functional Support

  • Manually triggered via App.
  • Motion-triggered by the build-in inertial sensor.
  • FES patterns triggered by motion-based biofeedback captured from upper or lower limbs.
